I set up Travelling Turner to share the love I have of the world with others, to hopefully inspire people to live in the moment and embrace this beautiful place we call earth.

Back in 2015 my husband out of the blue asked me if I had ever wanted to travel. My answer was a huge yes, especially to New Zealand. I'm a bit of a geek and had always wanted to go to middle earth. When I was younger I didn't have the money or the opportunity to go but I found myself looking at our savings and working out if it was actually doable. It took 2 weeks of researching and putting together a rough budget of what we would need for me to agree to quit my job, hand in our notice on our flat and plan our 3 month trip to the other side of the world.

This website was set up to  share my experiences with some beautiful images, some written first hand reviews and some short fun video highlights.
